Aurel Stenzel

Mathematician and cofounder of the SINE Foundation

About

Aurel Stenzel, a mathematician by training with an MBA of the Graduate School of Management Leipzig, is an entrepreneur with more than 13 years of experience. As the COO of Adjust, he co-built one of the latest unicorns in the German startup ecosystem. In 2020, he cofounded the SINE Foundation, a non-profit organization building open-source technology and governance tools for secure data sharing. In addition, in his research as PhD candidate at the university of Kiel, he investigates the behavioral aspects of data sharing dilemmas.

About SINE

SINE designs and implements the foundation for lasting data collaboration — delivered as ready-to-use governance tools and Open-Source software. The neutral non-profit foundation supports global organizations to identify, initiate and maintain use cases for data collaboration within complex multistakeholder environments.
