About
Günter Wolf is a local Senior Citizens' Representative in Munich, Head of Fachausschuss 8 "Digitalisierung" as well as member of the digital council of city of Munich. For Günter Wolf, digitalization is a basic necessity; it is a social issue, and no one should be left behind. We must not allow a two-tier society to emerge.
The local senior citizens’ representatives’ body serves as the link between older residents and the Senior Citizens’ Advisory Council. Through the local senior citizens’ representative bodies in each city district (25x), information, motions, recommendations, and suggestions are conveyed to the Senior Citizens’ Advisory Council and information from the Senior Citizens’ Advisory Council is passed on to older residents. The Senior Citizens’ Advisory Board is tasked with representing the interests of Munich’s older residents before the City Council, the city administration (another organizations) through motions, suggestions, inquiries, recommendations, and statements. Every citizen over the age of 60 is eligible to vote and be elected.
