Helene von Schwichow

About

Helene v. Schwichow is a PhD researcher at the professorship for Policy Analysis at the Technical University of Munich (TUM). As the manager of the project “Digitainability,” she researches and teaches on the opportunities and risks of digital technologies for sustainable development. Before her work at TUM, she co-founded MOTIF Institute for Digital Culture, a think tank that worked at the intersection of technology and society. Helene has studied in Berlin and Paris and holds a master’s degree in communication in social and economic contexts from the Berlin University of the Arts.

Together with Charlotte Böhm, she is a coach at the joint project sustAInability.

Professorship for Policy Analysis

The Professorship for Policy Analysis deals with the challenges of sustainable policy design at international, national and municipal level, with comparatively designed policy field analyzes in the fields of innovation, digital, environmental and energy policy, with regime comparisons between democracies and autocracies, as well as with new forms and instruments of governance of future technologies.
