Lead of the project “reframe[Tech]” at the Bertelsmann Stiftung

About

Julia Gundlach is lead of the project "“reframe[Tech]”" in the program “Digitalization and the Common Good” at the Bertelsmann Stiftung and mainly works on potentials of algorithmic systems for the common good. She deals intensively with use cases in which algorithms are used to address social problems, e.g. the allocation of daycare slots.

She previously worked at the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI) for the project Forum Digital Technologies. During her Master of Public Policy at the Hertie School in Berlin, she completed a Professional Year in the economic policy division of the Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Energy.
