Dr. Magnus Strobel is Co-Founder & CEO of Nexus Politics, an AI-powered platform for digital democracy that helps governments, politicians, and citizens engage more effectively through technology. His work focuses on leveraging artificial intelligence to strengthen democratic participation, improve transparency, and enable data-driven decision-making in the public sector.
Before founding Nexus Politics, Magnus completed his PhD in Behavioral Economics at the Technical University of Munich (TUM), where his research focused on decision-making under uncertainty. Today, he combines academic research with entrepreneurial experience to develop practical AI solutions for governments and democratic institutions. He regularly collaborates with municipalities, policymakers, researchers, and civic tech organizations on the future of digital participation and public innovation.

Nexus Politics is an AI-powered platform for digital democracy that helps governments, politicians, and citizens engage more effectively through technology. Our mission is to strengthen representation, transparency, and accountability by developing an all-in-one operating system for digital democracy. The platform offers participation tools to promote engagement, analytics tools for data-driven decision-making, and public politician profiles to ensure transparent political accountability. Our interdisciplinary team is part of the TUM Incubator, is supported by the Chair of Policy Analysis at TUM School of Social Sciences and Technology as well as the Munich Impact Incubator, and is funded through the federal EXIST program.
