About

After his PhD in theoretical physics at TUM, Paul Springer worked as a management and IT consultant in the financial sector in various roles, incl. head of AI. He is a passionate AI enthusiast and entrepreneur. Among other, he co-founded MI4People and leads it as volunteering managing director and chief scientific officer.

About MI4people gGmbH

MI4People is a non-profit organization that researches on how AI can be used to help solve humanitarian and environmental problems of this world and builds AI applications that are open source and free of charge. MI4People’s projects range from identifying marine litter using satellite imagery, over fostering healthcare systems in developing countries by means of AI-driven radiology assistants, to supporting blind evaluate at-home medical tests with an AI-driven app.
